All listed hats and headpieces come with detailed descriptions and sizes. When considering the purchase of Fedora hats (i.e. hats meant to be worn), it's essential to measure your head as shown in the provided drawing to ensure a proper fit.

While hats are typically worn as intended, cocktail style hats and headpieces with a base diameter of 4 inches (10cm) should be positioned to cover a sufficient area of the head. These headpieces are an elegant alternative to hats and can be secured using elastic bands, metal headbands, or hair combs.

If you are purchasing a headpiece for Royal Ascot, it's crucial to review the requirements for appropriate headwear based on the Enclosure you will be attending. Please note that a hat, headpiece, or fascinator should be worn at all times during the event.

Hats for Weddings

For weddings, it is customary for women to wear hats, whether they are family members or guests. Traditionally, hats and fascinators are worn on the right-hand side, but in modern settings, this is not strictly necessary. Headbands have become increasingly popular and can be crafted as bridal headpieces or for wedding guests.

In general, hats and fascinators are positioned to the side of the head and slightly forward, creating a stylish and sophisticated look.
